Thinking of Moving to Austin
So having spent time in Texas when I was growing up and then as an adult living in the Hill country, I long for the green hills and clear water in Austin. It is a beautiful part of Texas and very unique with the influx of people around the world moving there, there is an eclectic feel to the city. I think it is time to pack up and move out of this Vegas desert that is home to some and a playground to others. Will I live in a loft downtown or a farm where I can raise organic vegetables? There are so many choices there, that are not available to me now. Even though I know the weather can be humid, the heat that only a desert can bring will soon descend upon Las Vegas and the people that live here. The choice then becomes which oven mitt do I wear on my hands when I go to start my car so that I do not burn my fingers to a crisp. Time to list the house and go explore some of these great places to live.. The pictures below are of a home which is roughly 8,400 square foot between 8th and ninth on the East side of
Congress Ave. in Austin. I can only dream of something like this, but look at all the fun and diverse things you can do in this breathtaking city.
